We’re The Scotts – Ben, Brittany, Lily and Callie to be precise.
Originally from northern Michigan we moved to Kansas City after college to accept jobs at a corporate IT company. Ben was on the tech side and Brittany was on the business side. We bought and renovated our first house, Brittany left corporate to open a bridal boutique, we welcomed Lily into our family and then decided it was time for a drastic change.
In search of something more we sold the bridal boutique, our home and most of our possessions in exchange for a truck, RV and an open road. We traveled the US for two years, added Callie to the mix and flipped homes along the way all while searching for our forever home.
In 2020 we landed in Clemson, flipped another house, started doing client renovations and fell in love with the area. As if our lives weren’t crazy enough, we decided to purchase some land, create our own blueprint and take on the challenge of building our own home from the ground up. After working through many versions of our design as well as helping guide many others through major renovations we continually ran into the same comment… “I just wish I could see it.” This led us to combining Ben’s years of hands-on experience in construction and IT with Brittany’s entrepreneurship and love of design to solve the problem and Beyond Blueprint was born.
